The Pflugerville Patriots' Celebration was held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 benefiting the Fallen Warrior Memorial. The Celebration was a great success. The response from the community was great. There were many wonderful auction items that had been donated, including a Henry 22 caliber rifle and a pearl necklace with matching earrings.

The evening was filled with fun and glamour as Pflugerville's finest restaurants provided the heavy hors d'oerves. The over 150 crowd mingled and bid on the wonderful silent auction items while background music was provided by Tom & Renee Kesselring and Vernagene Mott.

The highlight of the evening was a moving speech by Congressman Michael T. McCaul and an energetic and fun live auction.

The volunteers that put together the event should be commended for their hard work and dedication to bring this fund raising event alive. Pfluger Hall was elegant and patriotic. Their hard work was obvious with every detail.

The Patriots Celebration was a glowing success and provided additional community awareness for the Fallen Warrior Memorial, as well as, providing additional funding for the project.

Thank you Pflugerville for your continued support and don't forget to mark your calendar for the Memorial dedication on November, 11, 2005.
