Veteran's Day 2005, the community of Pflugerville dedicated the Fallen Warrior Memorial in Pfluger Park. Families and friends of the 9 Fallen Warrior's attended the dedication ceremony along with hundreds of Pflugerville residents. In a moving and emotional ceremony, the statues and the memorial were unveiled.

Keynote speeches by Lt. Colonel Willy Buhl, USMC and Sgt. Major Jim Nier, US Army, Ret. provided a moving message to the crowd on the importance of honoring those who had made the ultimate sacrifice protectiong our freedoms.

The citizens of Pflugerville rallied in support of the memorial project, raising $100,000 to fund the project in less than a year.

Veteran's Day 2005 was truly a day to remember for the City of Pflugerville.

We will never forget our family, friends and classmates who died protecting Pflugerville's freedom.
